It's that time of week again where all Unity Addicts post this weeks challenge.
This weeks challenge given by MARIA is Themed Bookmarks.
Pick a book you love now, one you've read, or one from childhood and use that as your "theme" or inspiration to create a bookmark.
I chose my favorite book ever. The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. This book was given to me by my mentor Kathleen Anderson in December 1990.
Once there was a tree... and she loved a little boy.
So, here is my bookmark using the new KOM from Unity. I love this book so much I keep it on my work desk. It's about giving with all that is in your heart and acceptance of what love you receive in return, no matter what.
My bookmark is simple, clean and just bouncing with love. It's pretty much how I feel when I read this book. This book was also the main inspiration for THIS Unity Stamp design I created.
Check out the ladies on the side of my blog for more inspiration. You can also check out all the challenge participants on the Unity Forum at SCS.

LOVE it! I love that book too. I love all Shel Silverstein books.

I love this book too! I just started reading it to my kids (3 and 5) and they are intrigued by the pics. Simple illustrations but such an important message :-) Love the bookmark!
