Here's my take on the challenge. Simple and clean.
I received the Kit of the Month from Unity Stamp Company and created this little beauty. I challenged myself to use every stamp in the kit. Well, I used almost every one and had to add in the ardent swirl from the Growing in Unity kit.

I submitted to Unity, so I'm very excited to get to work with it. Big future plans with this stamp. I have lots of ideas.
I'm planning on making this into a wall hanging.

I did something a little different this week. I was inspired by the celery greens, blues and the chocolate browns in the bedding pattern. Love that color combination. It also snowed a bit today. A little squall and it got me in the holiday spirit. So, I created this holiday season wall hanging.

As a designer, it is sometimes a very surreal experience to see your work when it has been completed. Sometimes its a company annual report or brochure, a well crafted logo on a mass produced 3-D item, even your magazine on a newstand.
Well today is one of the best days EVA! (As Brooke would say).
Since the release of Unity's KOM that I was blessed to be a part of with three of my illustrations, I've been waiting to see the first creation by someone with one of my stamp designs. It has been a dream of mine to illustrate for a rubber stamp company, so to see the work in use just fills me up with creative goodness.
Brooke Lien, design team member for Unity Stamp Co. posted this awesome creation on Monday to her blog. She gave me permission to post it here as well. SHE ROCKS. I literally almost fell out of my chair when I saw my design used for the first time. It was a very special moment for me because it was the very first piece of art I submitted to Unity.
Can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with. I'm going to start a photo album on the sidebar
